Since 1942
In 1935, there was a significant increase in the study of print in the Tel Aviv area. Our grandfather, the late Ezra Levy of blessed memory, was one of those who chose to study print and develop the profession. Together with others in the field, he helped build and grow a professional community in the Hatikva neighborhood.
Ezra began working as an employee in the printing industry and then became a manager. A few years later, in 1942, he founded Peer Print.
Peer Print specialized in printing wine labels for Israeli wineries prior to the establishment of the State of Israel. Over time it became one of the expert printing houses in Israel in design and production of labels and packaging for the winery, beverage, cosmetics and food markets.
In the 1980s, technology led to the first evolution of print, with high-quality offset printing replacing letterpress printing.
In the 2000s, technology led to the second evolution of print, with high-quality digital printing replacing offset printing.
This page provides a brief overview of our history, of how we evolved over the years, and pays tribute to our cherished grandfather and founder of Peer Print, Ezra Levy.
